KULTURHUSET STADSTEATERN
We are honored to present Streetstar Festival 2022 at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern as it’s one of our main partners and Northern Europe’s largest cultural institutions. There are a wide range of activities that can be found in the institution, such as libraries, theatre, debates, art exhibitions, film, dance and music. Stockholm Stadsteatern AB was formed in 1956 after almost 30 years of planning. The architect Peter Celsing’s iconic glass building – inaugurated in the autumn of 1974 and eventually in Kulturhuset and Stockholms Stadsteatern merged to form Kulturhuset Stadsteatern in 2013.
Streetstar presents a variety of program in Kulturhusets various premises.
SERGELS TORG – ”PLATTAN”
Sergels Torg square, the so called ” Plattan” is one of Swedens most well-known locations. Many describe the spot as “the heart of Stockholm”, and been used by many artists to perform or advertise a cause. Next to it you will see Stockholm’s most culturally significant buildings; The culture House (Kulturhuset).
Streetstar presents spectacular battles in HIP HOP, DANCEHALL, FUNK ( LOCKING and POPPING) and BREAKING at Sergels Torg!
HOW TO GET HERE
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
BY METRO/SUBWAY
Station: T-Centralen (Stockholm Central City).
There are stops for both metro, bus, tram and commuter train near Kulturhuset Stadsteatern. The nearest stops are T-Centralen and Sergels torg. Kulturhuset is in the middle of central Stockholm at Sergels Torg. Entrance via Entréplan, Sergels torg or Gatuplan, floor 1.
BY FLIGHT
Closest airport is Arlanda Airport. 35 minutes by car to the venue. You can also take the shuttle bus services from the airport to T-CENTRALEN. Another optional airport is Skavsta Airport. This airport is usually for low price airline companies such as Ryanair. The airport is located aprox. 1,30h from central Stockholm.

Det kommer att arrangeras bussresor från ett flertal städer runt om i landet och vi ser över möjligheten att även kunna hjälpa till med enskilda resor. Är du intresserad, så kontakta oss på info@streetstar.se och ange staden eller regionen du vill resa ifrån.
Ni kan även kontakta er danskonsulent direkt via RGD – Regionaldansutveckling, för att se om dom skulle kunna bistå med något som kan hjälpa er. Resa, boende eller biljetter. Deras uppdrag är att främja dansen i sin region och i Sverige. I huvudsak verka för att barn, ungdomar och vuxna ska få ökad möjlighet att se, få kunskap om och uppleva dans.
