Denna dag är främst avsedd för den kommande generationen, barn och ungdomar i skolåldern upp till 18 år, men alla i alla åldrar givetvis är välkomna!
Välkomna att ta del ett fullspäckat schema med aktiviteter och workshops för alla. Är du intresserad av dans, musik, konst eller dansfilm, så finns det något för just dig.
Vi har vigt denna dag för unga besökare, så att dom ska ha en plats att utforska och utmana sig själva i något utav Hip Hopens olika uttryck efter sina egna premisser och förutsättningar.
Varje heltimme (14.00, 15.00, 16.00 och 17.00) kommer det att ske uppträdanden på scen i Studion. Däremellan kan du gå runt mellan dom olika stationerna och prova på olika spännande workshops. Du behöver inte föranmäla dig. Bara kom och joina!

– Lär skriva rhymes och texter och testa att rappa eller sjunga i micken.
– Kom och kolla på dansfilmer och bara chilla
Vi avslutar dagen med ett mäktigt All Style Battle för alla unga dansare som vill vara med. Oavsett dansstil är man välkommen att anmäla sig! Hip Hop, Breaking, Dancehall, Afro, Locking, Popping, House etc etc… Fina priser och give aways utlovas! Mer information on All Style Battlet hittar du längre ner.
DANSWORKSHOPS
Plats: STUDION – Plan 1
Tid: 14.00-18.00
Prova på olika Streetdancestilar. Du behöver inte ha några förkunskaper eller speciella danskläder. Kom som du är! Vi kommer att presentera 4 olika klasser med några av dom grymmaste danslärarna inom respektive stil. Du kommer säkert kunna se dessa danslärare battla i helgens internationella danstävlingar. Se schema nedan.

DJ WORKSHOP
Plats: GALLERI 1 – Plan 1
Tid: 14.15 och 16.15
Du kommer att lära dig att mixa ihop två låtar, scratcha eller bara lära dig hur alla olika knappar på ett DJ mixer bord funkar. DJ workshops för alla åldrar och nivåer.
Konsten i DJ:ing fann sin grund i att endast spela vinylskivor från en låt till den ena, till att börja manipulera skivan genom att röra den fram och tillbaka och få ut ett ”Scratch ljud”.
Vi lär dig de grunder som behövs för att kunna utföra olika scratch ljud och även för dom som gjort detta tidigare erbjuda lite högre nivåer.
Du kan även lära dig grunder i beatjuggling som är konsten i att ha samma låt på båda skivorna och skapa ett helt nytt sound.

BEATMAKING

Hur skapar man låtar och beats? Testa att göra dina egna beats och få hjälp och guidning av några riktiga proffs.

RAP
Plats: GALLERI 1 – Plan 1
Tid: 15.15 och 17.15
Hur skriver man en låttext eller raptexter. Hur ska man tänka om vill prova på freestyle (att hitta på text i stunden) eller hitta vilka ord som rimmar eller passar ihop. Har du kanske ett budskap du vill förmedla i en låt. Prova att rappa eller sjunga i mikrofon eller varför inte uppträda om du känner dig redo.

SHOWCASES

Tid: 14.00, 15.00, 16.00 och 17.00
Varje heltimme (14.00, 15.00, 16.00 och 17.00) kommer det att ske ett uppträdanden på scen i Studion. Allt från artister till dansshower med flera överraskningar…
ALL STYLE ROOKIE BATTLE
Plats: STUDION – Plan 1
Tid: 18.00-21.00
En danstävling av, med och för unga grymma dansare!
Tre olika tävlingar i tre olika ålderskategorier: 6-10 år, 11-14 år och 15-18 år.
Du kan anmäla dig till denna tävling på plats om du får känsla att var med. När du anmäler dig anger du vilken musikstil du gillar att dansa till, så kommer DJ´n att spela den musikstil du valt. Har du tur så kanske just din favoritlåt spelas, men DJ´n bestämmer musiken.
Innan man börjar battla (tävla mot varandra), så får man visa upp sig framför domarna. Sen väljer domarna vilka som går vidare till att battla. När man battlar, så dansar en dansare i taget. Varje solo är max 1 minut. Man kan dansa 1-2 solon per battle. Det blir som en turnering, där det först blir kvartsfinaler. Dom som vinner kvartsfinalerna går vidare till semifinaler och dom som vinner där går till en avgörande final!
Anmälan sker på plats mellan 14.00-17.00!
Våran jury består av unga dansstjärnor och musiken kommer att mixas av morgondagens top DJ!
GRAFFITI
Plats: GALLERI 1 – Plan 1
Tid: 14.15 och 16.15
Lär dig att skapa en teckning, skiss eller bokstäver utifrån denna konstform. Du får hjälp med att skissa fram vad du vill göra och sedan kanske möjligheten att få upp den på en vägg. Teckning får du ta hem eller bli kvar för alla att beundra under Streetstar helgen.

STREETSTAR´S INSTAGRAM CHALLENGE
Plats: ENTRÉN – Plan 1
Tid: Hela Streetstar-veckan
Vi kommer att ha en ”Social Media vägg” där man kan spela in en kort dans eller ta en dansbild. Dansa, lägg upp och tagga @streetstar_festival med dina bästa dansmoves eller pose! Du är med och tävlar om fina priser!

NEXT GENERATION DAY – ENGLISH VERSION
THURSDAY 26th of MAJ – 14:00-21:00
This day is all about the next generation. We want to lift up and put focus on children and young people up to the age of 18 years old but everyone is of course warmly welcome.
We invite you to take part in a packed schedule with activities and workshops for everyone.
Are you interested in taking a dance workshop? Or maybe learning how to write rhymes, or watch a film about dance? In that case there is something for you!

We have dedicated this day for young visitors, so that they have a place to explore and challenge themselves in one of Hip Hop’s different expressions according to their own premises and conditions.
Every full hour (14.00, 15.00, 16.00 and 17.00) there will be performances on stage in the Studio. In between, you can walk around between the different stations and try out different exciting workshops. You do not need to pre-register. Just show up and join!
A safe place with creative stations in the spirit of Hip Hop.

– Try mixing music and scratching records with our talented DJs
– Learn to sketch and make a cool painting with the help of real graffiti artists.
– Learn to write rhymes and lyrics. You can even rap or sing in the mic.

We will end the day with a powerful All Style Battle for all the young dancers who want to join. Regardless of dance style, you are welcome to sign up! DANCE WORKSHOPS
Location: STUDION – 1st floor
Time: 14.15-18.00
Try different street dance styles. You do not need to have any prior knowledge or special dance clothes. Come as you are! We will present 4 different classes with great dance teachers in each style. You will surely be able to see these dance teachers battle in this weekend’s international dance competitions. See schedule below.

DJ WORKSHOP
Location: GALLERI 1 – 1st floor
Time: 14.15 and 16.15
You will learn HOW to mix two songs together, scratch and understand how all the different buttons on a DJ mixer table work. The DJ workshops are for all ages and levels.
The art of DJing found its basis in playing only vinyl records from one song to another, to start manipulating the record by moving it back and forth and getting a “Scratch sound”.
We will teach you the basics that are needed to be able to perform various scratch sounds and for those who have done this before and want to go deeper, we will offer slightly higher levels.
You can also learn some basics in beat juggling, which is the art of having the same song on both records and creating a whole new sound.

BEATMAKING

How to create songs and beats? Try making your own beats while getting help and guidance from professionals.

RAP
Location: GALLERI 1 – 1st floor
Time: 15.15 and 17.15
How to write a lyrics or rap lyrics. How to think if you want to try freestyle (to come up with a text at the moment) or find which words rhyme or fit together. Maybe you have a message you want to bring out in a song. Try rapping or singing into a microphone or why not perform if you feel ready.

SHOWCASES

Every full hour (14.00, 15.00, 16.00 and 17.00) there will be performances on stage in the Studio. Everything from artists to dance showcases to many more surprises. Make sure to check out the schedule so you miss anything!
ALL STYLE ROOKIE BATTLE
Location: STUDION – 1st floor
Time: 18.00-21.00
A dance competition by, with and for young awesome dancers!
Three different age categories: 6-10 years, 11-14 years and 15-18 years.
You can register for this competition at the venue, on the same day if you get the feeling that you want to participate. When you register, you specify which style of music you like to dance to, and the DJ will play the style of music you have chosen. If you are lucky, your favorite song may be played, but the DJ decides the music.
Before you start battling (competing against each other), you have to dance in front of the judges. Then the judges choose who goes further to battle. When you battle, one dancer dances at a time. Each solo is a maximum of 1 minute. You can dance 1-2 solos per battle. It will be like a tournament, where there will first be quarter finals. Those who win the quarterfinals go on to the semifinals and those who win there go to a decisive final!
Registration takes place at the venue between 14.00-17.00!
Our jury consists of young dance stars and the music will be mixed by tomorrow’s top DJ!
GRAFFITI
Location: GALLERI 1 – 1st floor
Time: 14.15 and 16.15
Learn how to create a drawing or sketch based on this art form. You will get help with sketching out what you want to do and then get the opportunity to get it up on a wall. A drawing you can take home with you, but the painting will remain for everyone to admire during the Streetstar weekend.

STREETSTAR´S INSTAGRAM CHALLENGE
Location: STUDION ENTRANCE – 1st floor
Time: The whole Streetstar week
We will have a “Social Media wall” where you can record a short dance sequence or take a dance picture. Dance, post and tag @streetstar_festival with your best dance move or pose! You are competing for great prizes!
