OSUNLADE: The Goodfather of Afro House

Osunlade is an artist who personifies art. at age seven Osunlade discovered the piano and the vision of his life’s destiny was born. By the age of twelve he found an interest increasing songs of his own. He later formed local bands, taught himself several instruments and studied further the development his craft. As the success of the label grew, so did the demand for Osunlade to expend. In 2002 he released his album on the respected Soul Jazz Record label. ”Paradigm” quickly became one of the biggest house albums that year and dubbed him the messiah of ancestral House Music. Now known for his legendary DJ sets, remixes and fourteen albums including several mix cd´s. Osunlade has placed himself on solid ground. His passion is in Yoruba Records and maintaining its reputation of its unparalleled quality in music.

Kapela is known to craft sets with a mix of soothing Soulful House and Afro Deep Tech sounds. He is known to set entire dance floors on fire all over the world thanks to his energy and love for music and people. He is love. He surely reads the room and knows how to navigate with the crowd’s energy, building up the heat all day/night long. What thrives him is to bring people together through music. It is all about giving, feeling and connecting with an ultimate goal: make people happy.

Shannon is from  Brownsville in  Brooklyn, NYC. He started dancing at a young age and his style is influenced by breaking , roller skating and Hip Hop. He started going to house parties in 1986 like The World, Choice, Wild Pitch, House Nation, The Sound factory and Sound factory Bar. His dance credits include  a character for Sony Play Stations ”  Bust The Move” and  choreography for  platinum asian artist  Misia  and  TRF, CoCo Lee 李玟 Music Video,  “No Doubt” and “So Good”. He has served as judge for house at “Dance Delight”  in Japan, “Juste Debout” in France and “Battle Zone” in Russia.

Member of Dance Fusion NY crew and is currently a part of the MOPTOP Crew. As a Dj he has worked with Avrax in Japan and playing at some of the hottest clubs like “Luxy” and “Club 18” in Taiwan, SinSin, Lox, Funkbox, Sapphire Lounge in New York and is a resident Dj for the “Coney Island Dance Party”. He produces his own music and continues to share his extensive knowledge of Hip Hop and House dance culture through dance workshops, performances and judging organized street dance competitions around the world.
