ANARCHY & POETRY GILET JAUNE PARIS 2020 – Paris, France

This video was shot during the “Gilet Jaune” movement in Paris. The “Gilet Jaune” political revolution provoked a lot of violence and rebellion that caused riots in the streets every Saturday night for months.  We wanted to oppose the danger and civil unrest in the video with a classical score. The overall message was to convey that there’s still hope and creation in the midst of chaos and destruction, and that there is something magical about the way nearly nobody around the dancer notices him at all. He almost appears as a ghost, or as a symbol of peace for the world that is crumbling around him.
