Tre helger i höst kommer vi att bjuda in till en speciell workshop tillsammans med Martin C Ferretti plus en gäst!
Tillsammans kommer Martin + gäst att dela med sig av erfarenheter, kunskap och olika tekniker för att utveckla och utmana deltagarna.
Under dessa klasser kommer vi även ge tid åt samtal och frågeställningar kring dansen.

Martin startade sin danskarriär i dansgruppen Nine Degrees från Rinkeby. Han har medverkat i ett stort antal scen‐ och tv- framträdanden med egna produktioner samt turnerat med olika dansprojekt världen över, både som dansare och koreograf.
Har undervisat sedan 1990. Fördjupat sig, undervisat och förmedlat House Dance sedan 2001.
Tidigare kurs- och ämnesansvarig för pedagogutbildningen på Dans- och Cirkushögskolan och grundare till Åsa Folkhögskolas unika House utbildning. Även initiativtagare och grundare till Streetstar.

MARIE KAAE

Marie Kaae, originally from Copenhagen, Denmark, did most of her house dance studies in Paris. From 2008 -2014 she lived and developed her technique and style in Europe’s most vibrant house dance community. Also influenced by some of New York’s pioneers and rooted in the club culture, her style is smooth, honest and dynamic. She’s best known for being a two-time winner of House Dance forever in (Amsterdam/Japan 2015) and also holds other titles but has spent her years focused also on performance, teaching, organizing and pursuing a cultural dance life all around the world. Her first dance theatre feature was in a piece by “Out of Control” (DK/UK) in 2000 and has since then worked commercially, theatrically and represented in the freestyle scene on countless occasions. From 2011-2014 she toured with the French choreographer Pierre Rigalle and the piece “Standards”, and in 2015 She Choreographed and performed in the duet “Elevated Grounds” at the Stadsschouwburg Theatre In Amsterdam. Marie Kaae has actively worked to build and support dance community around the world. She is co-founder of Tap Water Jam Sessions in Paris and Denmark, Divercity (CPH) and of Nordic Unity. Both organizations driven to support local communities and connect within and with others through dialog, and co-planning.

BUDDHA STRETCH – MOP TOP / ELITE FORCE NYC
Stretch heavily impacted the dance world by bridging the gap between what was termed, Ol’ Skool and New Skool. His dance style, known as Freestyle Hip-Hop, draws from all aspects of Hip-Hop culture, music and dance. These moves during the early days of music videos helped to launch the popularity of dance in this medium, as well as live shows.

His first video was with Eric B & Rakim, Eric B for President. He met the members of his first dance crew, Mop Top, at a music video audition each one had booked for Diana Ross, Working Overtime. They began to hang out at New York’s night spot, The Tunnel, and later formed their crew. Stretch later formed a crew called Elite Force who appeared in documentaries, music videos, live shows and in countless projects overseas. His first choreography job was for Joeski Love (Pee Wee Dance) and went on to work with the likes of Rosie Perez, Will Smith in the Men In Black and Miami videos; Michael Jackson’s Remember The Time video (his most memorable experience) and more. He was nominated for two MTV Awards for ‘Best Choreography’ for the Will Smith videos Men In Black, Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It, and Miami. Recent credits include choreography for Virgin recording artist Thalia (on Good Morning America), Aida, Tony Award Winner, Heather Headley, Hot ’97 Air Personality, Angie Martinez, and rapper Rah Diggah.

CLARA BAJADO – PARIS / LONDON
Born, Raised and Trained in Paris with a Filipino heritage, Clara Bajado travelled with dance & her French accent before settling in London in the early 2000’s where she created Indahouse to promote Housedance & House Music Culture. With more than 20 years experience as performer, teacher, mentor, event producer, choreographer she is a pilar of House Dance and Hip Hop scene in the UK & pushes everyone to give their best.

CALEAF “BIG LEAF” SELLERS

As a Brooklyn native, Caleaf Sellers (aka Big Leaf) began developing his craft at an early age. His passion for dance and love for music has kept him in the business for fifteen years. Caleaf is one of the original pioneers to come out of New York’s dance movement in the late 80’s. He is a member of the famed Moptop Unit and Dance Fusion. Caleaf mixes Hip-Hop and House to create his own unique dance style.

As an emcee/producer, Caleaf has created music for the Break of Dawn Label with the Ten Thieves, Moptop in Japan and on Harlem Recordings with DJ Kango.

Caleaf tours the world teaching the art of House dancing. His goal is to share the culture of the dance through performances and by teaching movement foundation, technique and history from an originator point of view. He is committed to keeping the culture alive for future generations of dancers.
