Streetstar anordnar en insamling till dansare i Ukraina.
Streetstar har under alla år haft ett stort antal dansare från både Ukraina och Ryssland som har besökt våra evenemang.
En kort tid efter att invasionen startat, kontaktade vi samtliga dansare från dessa länder som besökt oss för att fråga hur deras situation såg ut och få en direkt och onyanserad bild av situationen och deras behov. Dansare och artister från båda dessa länder är minst sagt drabbade av denna rådande situation. De ryska dansarna tyckte att vi borde vända oss till den Ukrainska communityn till att börja med.
Vi har varit i kontakt med några dansare och grupper som hjälper krigsdrabbade på plats och vill nu hjälpa dom att hjälpa. Stödet går till mat, medicin och det mest nödvändiga för de mest utsatta.
Pengarna går oavkortat till dessa dansare och organisationer.

The Legits Foundation Platform
The Legits Foundation Platform – an organisation that directly helps Ukrainian B-boys, B-girls and their families in the war-affected Ukraine. 100% of the money they get will be sent to this in need to cover basic costs such as food, shelters, medication and start up for those who make it outside of Ukraine. They are consulting with Ukrainian B-boys and B-girls (such as Intact, Kuzya, Killa Kim) to identify those in need.

B-boy Flying Buddha
B-boy Flying Buddha – Is helping people every day in Kharkiv city together with his volunteer group called IRONBALLS. The group was formed from young and energetic people from various fields of activity who are ready to help our city and those in need in wartime.
They help everybody who needs help without exception: families, elderly people, people with small children, who are hiding in bunkers and left without work and possibility to buy everything they need- food, water, all necessary medicines, baby food, diapers for children, cereals etc. There are no ATMs in the city, many supermarkets are distroyed and it is to dangerous to go out for shopping.

Maxim Orobetz
Maxim Orobetz – dancer Cherkassy, Ukraine and organizer of @explosion_battle.
He has a fund that helps Ukrainian dancers in need. While The Legits mostly reach out to b-boys and b-girls, Maximus reach out to dancers, teachers, choreographers and their families. The dancers in need call him and say what they need help with (like money for transport, food etc) and Maximus transfer money to them.
