Streetstar proudly presents Dance Video Forum for dancers and filmmakers from around the world.
The forum will include competitions regarding dance videos produced by participants for the development of digital arts and movement.
Dance Video Forum is a plattform on the web for young choreographers and dancers in Sweden and around the world. We will open the Dance Video Forum for dance on the web for artistic development by creating innovative dance films.
Best Dance Video was first organized in 2020 with great international interest and we had participating filmmakers and films from more than 20 countries
Dance Video Forum will be a new meeting place for urban culture and the development of visual dance both in Sweden and internationally. This year all films will also be screened live in Stockholm
We will have two separate competitions open for all dancers:
BEST DANCE VIDEO All dance styles in urban dance are represented and the key words are diversity and multiculturalism, where we target young professional dancers, choreographers and film directors who represent the dance stars and filmmakers of today and the future.
60 SEC DANCE CHALLENGE We are we are excited to present this concept for all dancers of create your 60 second of dance films our jury will select the 3 best best film for the winners

RULES
RULES – BEST DANCE VIDEO 2023
This competition is open for all urban dancers, crews, film makers and editors of dance films.
We want to invite all the best and the most creative to bring the artform of dance on the silver screen.
You are free to edit and use special effects to create you masterpiece and with as many dancers as you want for your film and there is no time limit.
The judges will select the best film with winner prizes of 1.000 € and all films will also be screened live in Stockholm. We will also have a Peoples Choice Prize for the video with most votes from our viewers!
TIME LIMIT: No time limit.
ENTRY FEE: The registration fee is free.
BEST DANCE VIDEO WINNERS PRIZES: (1.000 € )
1st prize of 600 €
2nd Prize 250 €
3rd Prize 150 €
